I think the last time i played a matching game was... back in middle school maybe? I found I'm  really bad at this and it i am making it my goal to win this. So far, after about 20 tries, most of which lasted about 10 seconds, i haven't been able to clear shit xD Afraid I'll have to start at difficulty level 0

I love the style though and the music complements it perfectly. It feels kind of like a meditation, even though I'm bad at playing. The combination of colors and lines and music in itself is really rather calming.

I like how the game represents this struggle with mental health, and you have to do a lot of nice activities to gain energy and defeat it (I'm counting unmatched blocks as thoughts of doing something and combos as actually doing it, and sometimes the demon hides the thoughts from me and i can't remember what i was thinking about doing lmao). It's nice how you can name the demon whatever you want and choose a coping strategy and the time of day when the demon is at its strongest. All in all, the game is really nice, and i was happy seeing something from my favourite creator on my dash :) wishing you all the good luck!!

Hey again~ thank you for continuing to be so supportive! It really means a lot to me <3

Aha I have to admit I did match the difficulty of DYD to those 90s games I was emulating- and they do tend to be a lot harder than most games of a similar type you can find on mobile app stores today. Maybe a good next step is to add more difficulty modifiers to the settings menu. That could make it more accessible to players who aren't super familiar with the genre. It might just be while before I get around to it.

My next goal is to complete another small game concept for the trans representation jam (I've been meaning to do submit something to that for a while!) Hope the bout of luck lasts me through it~
